Our sincere thanks to Charlotte Rossley of “Caps for Africa” who donated these lovely sunhats that were handed out to the kiddies at the Shamrock Squatter Camp 4 January 2014. Their happy faces say it all.
Thank you Charlotte for your kind heart and generous spirit.
We extend a special thank you to Mondeléz for the wonderful donation of chocolates.
Chocolate is always a big hit with the poorer communities.
A huge thank you to everyone who donates unwanted items to us on a regular basis.
All donated items i.e. clothing, shoes,
bedding, kitchenware, books, magazines, etc. are handed out to the communities where we undertake Outreaches.
All items are always gratefully received.
Our special thanks to Di and her merry band of willing helpers of Cape Town who raised a whopping amount of R5 050.00 at their book sale for the sterilisation of our Township Tails. Please take a bow, ladies, for your sterling and amazing efforts. We are simply overwhelmed by your generosity.
A special thank you to Ian Thackeray and the Land Services Team from the Newton Park Technical College who spent an entire Saturday in February at the Shelter removing all alien plants which are poisonous to animals.
We salute you for your hard work and the assistance
rendered in making the fields a safe place for all the animals. We highly commend you for your charitable contribution in helping others.
Our grateful thanks to Carol-Lynn of Orb Signs who has sponsored our new logo. You have a very kind heart and generous spirit.
Orb Signs are also designing a new banner for us. Wow!!
Our sincere thanks to a very special lady, Erma Voigt of Graaff-Reinet for nominating us for the Santam Volunteerism Programme. A huge thank you to Santam for awarding us the prize of
R10 000.00 which will go towards Operation Touch.
Please take a bow, Erma, for the nomination. And a very special thank you to Santam for making our dream a reality.
We salute Brigitte Reeve Taylor the Founder of Dancers Love Dogs and her dancers for raising an impressive amount of R20 000.00 for sterilisations. Dancers Love Dogs, Cape Town raised R10 000.00 in May and Dancers Love Dogs, Durban raised R10 000.00 in June. Wow!! We are simply amazed by your munificence and benevolence. You are to be highly commended for your caring and compassion for God’s less fortunate furry creatures in the Townships. Please take bow for your exceptional efforts.
We are simply delighted that there will be another 80 happy tails in the Townships who will benefit from your kindness, thus alleviating the suffering and misery they endure by raising litter upon litter until they can no more. Our hearts are overflowing with happiness and we feel truly blessed by your generosity.
Our sincere thanks to the KPMG good samaritans Melissa, Willie, Danelle, Romano, Prishen, Deirdré, Marisna, Skye, Shaun, Amy, Stephan and Chane of KPMG for spending “Madiba Day” at the Shelter. They came armed with 20 litres white paint, black paint, rollers and brushes. They painted the two walls to the entrance at the Shelter that were looking the worse for wear. The walls were scrubbed clean and given a fresh coat of paint and they can be very proud of their handiwork. We think it looks beautiful!
They also donated a mountain of dog and cat pellets as well as blankets for the animals. And for the people they donated some really good quality second-hand clothing which was handed out to the communities where we undertake Outreaches.
Unfortunately, Tania & Ignus could not be there for the activities, but they donated most of the clothes, blankets etc. They have more people involved on their team who could not make it due to client commitments.
They all thoroughly enjoyed the day and wished they could have done more, but this is only a start. They have big plans for us and would like to become more actively involved with Animal Outreaches.
Please take a bow for your generosity and bounteousness. We salute you all for your sterling efforts. You guys rock!!
Our grateful thanks to the charitable pupils of St Dominic’s Priory School who gave their time and assistance to help us clean up the Shelter premises.
We salute you for your hard work in tidying up the grounds.
We highly commend you for your sterling efforts in making everything look shipshape and orderly.
Please take a bow for your excellent labours. You are most welcome to come and visit again!
Our sincere and heartfelt thanks to the Levin family who donated a substantial amount of cat & dog pellets and blankets for our Township Tails; noodles & biscuits for our food parcels and lots of sweets for the children who attend classes at Operation Touch.
We are simply bowled over by your generosity and munificence. We salute you for your charitable and kind-hearted deed for the benefit of the less fortunate souls of our society.
Our sincere thanks to the hard working little angels of the Bellbuoy Group who raised the sum of R11 118.25 at a Trivia Evening held on 5 October 2014 for the Sterilisation Fund of Animal Outreaches and the Animal Anti-Cruelty League.
We salute you for the caring and compassion you have shown towards the furry angels in the Townships who rely on angels like yourselves to enrich their lives by having them sterilised, thus alleviating their untold suffering of having to produce litter upon litter.
You are simply the BEST !
